Serving God

This week I am thinking about service. Wallace Waddles said: "The only service that we can render to God is to give expression to what he is trying to give the world through you."
God has given us each our own special way to view the world. We need to learn to accept our own unique view point and realize that God sees the world through our unique perspective. That is why we were created in the first place.

It becomes our service to God to take care of our minds and bodies so that we can experience as much life as possible in our service to God. Just imagine for a moment how much more service you can give when you feel healthy and energized.

Here is a great reference that Mike Adams has shared with the world. His service to God seems to be sharing food an health information. http://www.healingfoodreference.com/

Take a moment this week to think about how you are serving God through your service to others. Think about God being with you in all that you do and how you can rely on his strength and knowledge to help you advance toward your goals.

Serving God

Wallace Waddles said in the Science of being great that the only service we can give to God is to be ourselves.

His actual quote was "The only service that we can render to god is to give expression to what he is trying to give the world through you."

Right now the service I wish to give is to share information that people need to improve their lives. My plan to accomplish this goal is to learn Internet marketing.

I just completed the Cory Rudl Internet marketing course.

I will be using what I have learned to serve God by sharing what I know.

Manifesting my Dreams

I have been working through the professional dreamer course.

Part of the course recommends that you create a collage of pictures that represent your desires.

In order to represent my desire for freedom and adventure with a sports car, I pictured a rather rare white Honda S2000. I had seen very few S2000 cars on the road and I had never seen a white one when I posted that picture on my wall.

Yesterday while going to rescue my parents who were stranded with car trouble, I saw not one but two white Honda S2000's. The first was right in front of me as I drove into town and the second passed me in North Alabama.

I see this viewing as a sign form God that my dreams and desires are being made manifest in His own way.

God is my strength

God is the strength in which I put my trust. I cannot fail.

I thank you God for all the blessings I have and for all the blessings I am receiving.

God is part of me

I have recently begin to understand that God is not something that is separate from me, but God is a part of me. My thoughts are God's thoughts. God is the light in which I see.

Every thing I experience God experiences with me. And it is all good because God created it. It is only my own ego that tells me some things are bad. Everything that God has created is good and has a purpose. On;y after the fall of man did man begin to decide that some of God's creations were good and some were bad. Before that, everything God created was considers good.

And God still thinks that way. When I remember that God is within me I see all things working for my good because I am a child of God.

God is my Supply

Sometimes when I fear that I wont have enough money to do the things I enjoy, I have to remind myself that God has an infinite supply. If my faith is is God then my faith is well founded.

God has plenty of abundance for everyone and as a child of God I have that abundance circulating in my life.

If I am to live for God, He will provide the resources to achieve the life I am to live.

I now realized that when I have fear of lack that my fear is based on not knowing what I must do to create abundance. When I step back and trust God to be my supply, then I am at peace.

God is my Strength

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

All Things.

Not just some things, but all things. God is with me in all things. I can accomplish whatever I set out to do for God is with me and gives me strength.

dealing with fear

Today I am taking moment to acknowledge that even though I have God with me at all times, I still occasionally feel fear. This fear has been there a long time and it may take me some time to release all of it.

"Fear no evil" says the psalm. I am getting there.

"pray without ceasing" has taken on a new meaning to me as well.

A closer walk with God

I have been studying the techniques in Professional Dreamer to improve my feeling of closeness to God. I can't really improve the closeness because we share the sane spirit but I don't always feel His presence.

So far I have worked toward removing clutter form my life. Physical clutter as well as mental clutter.

I have expressed my desires to God and I am allowing Him to work out the circumstances to help us achieve them.

Yesterday, I chose three ideas to carry with me at all time. To pray without ceasing.

These concepts are happiness, creativity and abundance.

By Happiness, I mean looking for the good in every situation. Accepting people as they are rather than how I think they should be. Assuming every one has my best interest in mind and that all things work for the good of those who love the Lord.

By creativity, I mean I am creating my world as I live it. I find new and different solutions to problems that I face. I learn to use resources that are available to be to create something new and exciting.

By abundance, I mean that I will always have an adequate supply of whatever I need to achieve my goals and desires. God provides for the sparrows and He provides for me.

I now feel that my goals and dreams are aligned with God's goals and dreams for me so that nothing is beyond our reach.

Words of Affirmation

This past Sunday I taught my Sunday school class about using words of affirmation.

The words we use express the thoughts that we are thinking. Using words of affirmation we can create the situations that we desire in life.

When we use destructive words, we tear down that which we seek to build up.

Words are very powerful. the most powerful words are those that we speak to ourselves.

If we continue to tell ourselves how blessed we are to be children of God then we will continue to recognize the goodness around us. if we continue to tell ourselves bad things then we will continue to notice all the bad and depressing things around us.

Life is so much more fun when we focus on the positive. remember, what you think about expands. And what your talk about expands even more.

Four wheeling with God

This weekend, I went four wheeling with God. We went to Livingston, Ky. See my article on JeepGirl travels for pictures and details.

When we got to camp, I was a bit concerned about how we were going to get back out. I had had trouble with my engine and transmission on the trip in and I was worried that it might not make it out.

But as we were lined up for our turn at the big rock, I remembered that God was riding with me. I was sure He wanted to enjoy the ride along with me. So I made a picture in my mind of my Jeep scrambling effortlessly over the rocks and mud to the top of the hill.

When my turn came to make the climb, I told God to hang on and we eased up the first rock just as I had imagined. Then I eased into the gas just a bit more and we walked the Jeep high up on the bank to the left avoiding the rock to the right that had hung those who had gone before me.

I was almost disappointed at how easy it was. But then God reminded me that it was just like I had imagined and that is was huge fun to do it that way.

God is great fun to have along.
